Learning everything again.

Looks like I will have to learn all the coding for this blog once again. Yes, it seems like a waste of time but it helps to keep things organized and in order.

Need to start posting here.

It seems like they have deleted this blog? Better get going on what the situation is.

Well, it doesn't seem like this is over yet.

Even though the prediction of the river level is supposed to be going down, in reality, it is still going up.  I just was out looking at the water level and it is up another 3 inches at the New Richmond Marina. Not that 3 inches is a lot, it is that the river is still rising when the prediction has it falling.

The Ohio River appears to have topped off for this event.

The Ohio River at Meldahl Dam is at, or pretty close to cresting for this event.

This is a view of the river bank at 13:08 today. The river is moving quickly and contains a lot of debris.   More as the river rises.
OK,... I know,.....   I have not coded any HTML for 10 years and forgot how to do what I wanted to do. DOH!  I have to go and fix this late today so you can click the graphic and it will open the original photo in a new window. (Its either a Brain fart or CRS, but I will get it.)

Less than a foot of rise left to go!

Per the river gauge at Meldahl dam, we have less than a foot to go before the river starts receding.  This is a very good thing. The ground in the village is currently sloppy wet and can't handle more water. At this rate, things might dry out by 4th of July.
