Tracking is down

Apparently the tracking system for the shipping in the area is down. Matter of fact it has been down for several weeks now. That is why there are no updates to the local maps even though there are ships all over the area.

I have emailed the system operators about the problem, but they have not replied yet.

I hope this system is back up and running so I can put the webcam up and everyone will be able to look at the ship(s) that are listed.

Color Changes

The colors were all changed because; if I woke up in the middle of the night and saw something interesting going down the river, and wanted to peek at who it was without the monitor becoming a "beacon in the night", so to speak.

Honestly, I wanted to have something that didn't kill my eyes when the monitor came on (at 3AM) and my eyes were used to the dark.

Barge of "Modular Pillars" moves on.

We have 'Mr. Larry' in the lead, pulling and 'Sea Hog' in the rear pushing this barge of probable wind turbine pillars / pedestals.

This barge and pair of tugs sat on the Kentucky side of the river (across from the village) since the afternoon of the 1st.(or about 12 hours). Apparently, they wanted to stop and listen to the concert at the village pavilion last night.  They finally moved along at around 0600 the morning of the 2nd.

(Shown) We have 'Mr. Larry' in the lead, pulling via cable and 'Sea Hog' in the rear pushing this barge of probable wind turbine pillars / pedestals.
